My choices of paper, labels, tickets, fabrics, photographs, hand-altered or machine-altered images, and three dimensional cast offs, are reminders of the past. They are to be understood as implicit symbols, or metaphors, for the presence of time itself. Placed in a new world of geometric design, these reminders become an organized expression of life in a disjunctive, contradictory, and even absurd modern world.
